South Korean Foreign Minister Ban Ki-Moon was formally elected the next UN Secretary General. Ban was unanimously approved by the top 5 council memebers, and by all 192 members. "The true measure of success for the UN is not how much we promise, but how much we deliver for those who need us most."
The question is what role "dialogue" has played in resolving the North Korean nuclear standoff over the past three years? Insisting - in these hard times - on a formula that so signally failed when it was easier is tantamount to giving up on a resolution of the nuclear standoff altogether... Koreans and the world are fed up with this administration's hypocrisy.
